Tracking Program Outcomes

I spent time tracking program outcomes for several areas at the higher education level. Programs were evaluated for effectiveness. Graduating students need to have certain knowledge and skills for entering the field in which they chose to work. Healthcare degree programs, for instance, needed to meet accreditation standards and also the expectations of the hiring organizations. My area, general education, was involved for all degree programs (yes, everyone has to take math and English!). I met with several advisory boards and accreditation committees to communicate the expectations set forth by our institution in the areas of math, English, and social sciences.
