Reliability

People just want to know that they can count on you. I feel that I am a reliable person, especially when it comes to showing up to work and being in meetings on time. I am one of those people that never misses work unless I have vacation time. Being someone that people can depend on can have its disadvantages if you allow it to, though. A person who is always there, whenever you call, puts their work/life balance in jeopardy. I have learned this through working overtime for years, including evenings and Saturdays, and several 14 hour days. I am a flexible employee and will do this if needed, but I have learned how to say no, if it is not a requirement. I am a happier person because of it.
