Being Organized

My past evaluations have touted "organized" as one of my strongest areas. I bring outstanding organization to all projects. I am always able to find things I am looking for in a timely manner. This is, of course, by using the tools to keep one organized (electronically and otherwise). Time is too precious to spend looking for documents or plans that have been created before. Have I ever been disorganized? Well...yes. That is one reason I value organization so much. During the early years of college teaching, I kept my hardcopy files in electronic format on my flashdrive. I hung the drive on a lanyard around my neck so I wouldn't lose it while going from one computer to another, and added new lesson plans and teaching techniques. My children were young at home, and one day I found that the end of my flashdrive was bent... I lost a great deal of work that I had not backed up. So, needless to say, I have not only learned to be organized, but to also to save and BACKUP my work.
