Evolving Workplaces

I began teaching at a college that had 300 students. The institution grew so quickly, that within 7 years, it had 4000 students! It was a time for growth, and with that came new roles and expectations. The change was fun! I enjoyed seeing the wheels turning, hiring new people, and putting new roles an services into play. However, there comes a time when things go the other way... The economy picks up, student enrollment drops, and then change comes again, in the opposite direction. This time, consolidation. It was never a dull moment working at that college!
